NZFurs Chat forum: North Shore Fur looking for home

Hey everyone. I see that this place is quite... Quiet. However, it's better than nothing.

I'm currently looking for a place to stay in the Waitakere area, Titirangi specifically (though just outside that is fine too). I'm currently looking at getting a job at a game company (currently negotiating) which would require me to move closer to that area. As it is, it will take me 3 hours a day on public transport getting there and back again, which isn't acceptable.

Are there any furries in that area with a room available, or anyone who would be open to rooming with a fellow fandom member? There's plenty of houses in that location available for rent so getting a new place isn't VERY difficult (checked on TradeMe, 29 listed right now, including a really nice 2 bedroom place for $360/w)

On top of the job reasons, I'm also under a ton of stress from the people I currently live with, and moving out would relieve a LOT of that stress (even if it's replaced with other stress, it's still an improvement).

So.. Anyone have a room available, or open to the idea of moving in with other fandom members?

are you on any of the NZ Furry facebook groups? If not, you might want to try asking there too.

Honestly, I avoid facebook like a plague.
If I do join any of the groups, it'll likely be under a proxy account.

If I don't get any decent responses here though, I will join some and ask out of necessity =/

Any in particular you recommend?


edit: Joined the NZ Furries group, need to wait to be accepted.
Checked the rules on it, and it doesn't seem my reason for joining will get me banned.

Got accepted into the group and posted there. Will still monitor here though.

Just thought I'd bump this up again... Seems I'm having no luck whatsoever =/
